Vitalis acquires 36-Bed PAM Health Rehab Hospital in Denver metro.
The transaction closed May 30, 2024.
Vitalis has acquired a 37,000 SF inpatient rehabilitation hospital on a long term lease with PAM Health. The facilitiy is strategically located in the affluent submarket of Westminster and accounts for over 50% of the available IRF beds within a 15-mile radius. The asset was developed in 2015 and repurposed in 2021 to accommodate PAM’s use. The state of the art facility provides quality care to patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injury,orthopedic surgery, amputation and neurological disorders.
PAM was founded in 2006 and is the market leader nationally for post-acute care. PAM operates over 65 specialty hospitals and rehabilitation centers across the US with over 7,500 employees generating over $1.3 B of net patient revenue.
“This is our first asset in the state of Colorado and our first IRF. We plan to continue our growth in the state and will close on at least one additional IRF asset before the end of 2024.” Says Heather Haley, Director of Acquisitions.
